Although Kanye West aka “Yeezy”, or “Yeezus”, may seem like he’s got it all and he’s all about his music, he actually has a great passion invested the fashion industry. Kanye says that the fashion industry is so tainted and fake and that’s part of the reason why his personal style and even his own fashion line are so abstract.

As we know, his line is diverse to say the least. Kanye’s fashion line debuted on the first day of NYFW and has been described as dull, ill fitting, and unconventional by the industry’s most highly respected critics. As a matter of fact, his fashion line hasn’t even been particularly high selling or even profitable, hence the publicized story of his 53 million  dollars in debt. Though that number isn’t completely reflective of his success as a whole, it is still a tremendous hole to dig yourself into for something you have a passion for.

Outside of the negatives his shoe line “Yeezy’s” have been extremely successful being sold out before the even hit the market. Adidas, Kanye’s manufacturer, is particularly pleased with Yeezy Shoes as the have been a extremely high seller which have brought immense profits. I believe Kanye’s diversity is what makes him a trademark brand in the fashion industry. I find that this says a lot about himself and his perseverance which is why I believe he has been so successful in his lifetime. I will be looking forward to his next release!
