Hi Guys, Emily, Here!!!

Yesterday was my birthday; I am now 20 years old. Wow. I feel so old…. Anyways, I wasn’t too sure whether I would have a lovely day or not yesterday, due to the fact that my schedule had me here, at school, from 8 am until 9 pm. Craziness. Especially on a day that is meant to be spent celebrating with family and friends.

Well… it was a million times better than I thought it would be!!! My SA family made me feel incredibly special and loved and I thank them for it. They truly make my time here at GCC exciting, fun, and fulfilling. We don’t like to talk about it, but I am going to miss them very much when I graduate.

So, at the risk of sounding too sappy for everyone’s taste, I will end this short blog post with a great video from “The Office” about birthdays, and a princess song (We had a Tiny Tot dance class do this song for recital one year, it gets stuck in my head every birthday ever since then). The dialogue from this clip was running through my mind all day yesterday and I was dying for someone to write my favorite quote from this episode on my facebook wall yesterday (which didn’t happen, but pop quiz! its hidden somewhere in this blog post).
